In English: sentence bracket (verb bracket)
The frame formed by the two parts of the verb in a main clause: the conjugated verb in second position and the rest (infinitive, participle or separable prefix) at the very end. The other elements sit between them. You have to wait for the end to get the full meaning.
Example: Ich habe heute Morgen zwei Stunden Deutsch gelernt.
