die würde-Form

In English: würde + infinitive (the „would“ form)

The everyday replacement for the Konjunktiv II of most verbs: würde in second position, the infinitive at the end. It is not normally used with sein, haben and the modal verbs, which keep their own forms (wäre, hätte, könnte).

Example: Ich würde gern mehr reisen. (I would like to travel more.)
