In English: reflexive verb
A verb used with a reflexive pronoun (mich, dich, sich, uns, euch) that points back to the subject. Many German verbs are reflexive where English uses no pronoun at all: sich freuen (to be glad), sich erinnern (to remember).
Example: Ich freue mich auf die Ferien. (I am looking forward to the vacation.)
