In English: one, you, people (general subject)
The pronoun for people in general, where English says one, you, they or uses a passive. The verb is in the third person singular. It exists only as a subject: the accusative is einen, the dative einem. Do not confuse it with der Mann.
Example: In Österreich spricht man Deutsch. (German is spoken in Austria.)
