A connector made of two words that work as a pair: sowohl ... als auch (both ... and), entweder ... oder (either ... or), weder ... noch (neither ... nor), nicht nur ... sondern auch, zwar ... aber, je ... desto (the more ... the more).
Example: Sie spricht sowohl Deutsch als auch Italienisch.
