In English: wo-compound (question form)

A question word made of wo (or wor before a vowel) + a preposition. It asks about a thing after a verb with a preposition. For a person, German uses the preposition + wen or wem: auf wen, mit wem.

Example: Worauf wartest du? Ich warte auf den Bus.
