In English: formal address (polite you)
The polite Sie, used with adults you do not know well, in shops, offices and at work. It is always capitalized (Sie, Ihnen, Ihr), takes the verb form of the third person plural, and is the same for one person or several.
Example: Können Sie mir bitte helfen, Frau Berger? Ich danke Ihnen.
