Pronouns

einander

In English: each other (reciprocal pronoun)

A word that never changes and shows that two or more people do the same thing to each other. With a preposition it is written as one word: miteinander, füreinander. In everyday German, the reflexive pronoun (sich, uns) often does the same job.

Example: Die Nachbarn helfen einander. Wir sprechen oft miteinander.
